Create the Longest Scarf on the Longest Day!
Join Yarn Bits and Bobs, Nancy Sheleheda and Wiebke Kilbert in a heartfelt, community-wide project to support the Alzheimer’s Association during The Longest Day campaign.
Here’s how to take part:
You’ll have 48 hours between June 14–21 to knit or crochet as much as you can for our community scarf.

Collect Pledges from Family & Friends
Ask your loved ones to support your effort by pledging:-
Per inch you complete

Per inch of the total scarf

Flat donation

Craft Your Contribution
Your piece should measure 6 inches wide. After your 48-hour crafting window, bind off and drop off your section by 3 PM on Saturday, June 21 at Yarn Bits and Bobs. -
Celebrate with Us on June 21
Join us in-store to craft socially! Bring your current WIP or help us sew the scarf sections together. Let’s connect, stitch by stitch.

June 20–21, Yarn Bits and Bobs will match donations up to 25% of all in-store and online sales, with proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association’s Longest Day campaign.
